Job summary

A leading technology services provider in Singapore is seeking a networking technician to handle installation and maintenance of various network equipment. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience and strong internetworking skills. Responsibilities include conducting technical site surveys, performing installations, and providing on-call support. Familiarity with equipment such as routers and firewalls is essential. This position requires a basic command of English and offers round-the-clock support duties.

Qualifications

Job description

Scope of Work

• Installation, Addition, Change, Move
• Activities performed in customer’s sites;
• Includes Technical site survey, Wifi passive site survey, Site preparation, Staging,
• Installation, support on migration, and Day 1 onsite support.
• Installation involving rack/stack, and input of basic configurations for remote access.
• Equipment include routers, LAN switches, Wireless LAN, firewall, etc.
• Brand/Manufacturer include CISCO, Avaya, Riverbed, Huawei, Palo Alto, UPS, Microsoft, etc.

Maintenance

• Provide a 7-day x 24-hours basis on-call services
• On-standby support with SLA 7*24*4.
• Replacing any field replaceable units required and returning the equipment to normal operational condition;
• Installing requested engineering changes, or any required software.
• Re-packing of returning equipment for RMA return.

Skillset

• 3 years of experience.
• Strong internetworking skills.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.
• Basic command of English
