Application Developer

Work Location: Downtown Core, Singapore

Job Type: 2 Years Contract, subject to renewal

About the Role: This role involves designing, developing, and testing applications using technologies like SQL, .NET Core, and Angular, while supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include delivering code, documentation, testing, and coordinating with offshore teams to ensure alignment with company requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development and testing of the applications (including but not limited to SQL, .NET core, ASP, HTML/CSS, Web services, Angular/JS).
• Responsible for producing deliverables (including but not limited to application source code, technical specification documentation, Unit testing, code review, implementation instructions) over the various phases of the Software Development Life cycle.
• Development of code for the applications in accordance with Company's requirements, approved design and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Offshore resources and MBS to become the single point of contact.
• Perform unit testing and provide support for Quality Analysis and User Acceptance Testing, including resolving any defects in developed applications.
• Respond to and resolve any queries related to application development.
• Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, IT, Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 3 years development experience with strong understanding of requirements for design, coding and testing of information systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience with .NET related products.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and DevOps and CI/CD will be additional advantage.
• Strong knowledge of development, implementation and production processes.
• Demonstrates the ability to operate independently to design, develop and implement software.
• Experience in using version management tools such as Azure DevOps and GIT.
