Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Nacelle Specialist (Chief Engineer) to lead a nacelle OEM design program. This is a confidential search for a senior leadership role that will oversee the design, development, certification, and support of nacelle systems for large-body aircraft (comparable to Airbus A350 and Boeing 787).

• 3-year contract + 2-year renewal (not permanent)
• Up to $16,000
• Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Paya Lebar

This position requires proven technical authority in nacelle design, including inlet (with anti-icing system) and thrust reverser, as well as strong leadership capabilities to guide and mentor a team of 80–100 engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the nacelle engineering team.
• Oversee design and development of nacelle components, ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA certification standards (CAAC advantageous).
• Lead program milestones including PDR, CDR, testing, and prototyping.
• Establish nacelle work scope, framework, and mitigation plans within the first 6–12 months.
• Collaborate with engine OEMs and strategic suppliers to ensure technical quality and program success.
• Drive continuous improvement through fleet performance monitoring and technical enhancements.

• 3-year contract + 2-year renewal (not permanent)
• Up to $16,000

• Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
