A leading global financial institution in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to drive the consolidation of its Banking and Investment Banking arm. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, with a focus on Murex Project Management and Implementation. Your role involves coordinating project timelines, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are required. Client is committed to leveraging advanced technology platforms to deliver innovative solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain robust risk governance. As part of this commitment, the Group invests in industry-leading systems such as Murex to support end‑to‑end trade processing, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance across multiple asset classes.
Client has embarked on strategic initiative to consolidate its Banking and Investment Banking arm into one. Towards that end it is hiring a project manager to drive this consolidation exercise leading to:
Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for middle office deliverables, aligned with overall project plans.
Coordinate with BA team to ensure tasks are clearly assigned, tracked, and completed on schedule.
Attend workshops and meetings with Regional, Country Risk, and the team.
Collect updates from the BA team and consolidate progress reports.
Track action items, issues, and dependencies related to middle office deliverables.
Prepare regular status reports and dashboards, as required, for the Regional Risk team and other stakeholders.
Identify, log, and track risks and issues for the middle office function.
Proactively follow up on mitigation plans and elevate critical risks or roadblocks for resolution.
Serve as a liaison for operational communications between Regional & Country Risk, the BA team, and the project management team.
Ensure all key decisions, meeting minutes, and action items are documented and distributed.
Maintain a repository of project documentation relevant to the middle office.
Track any changes in requirements or scope for middle office deliverables.
Ensure change requests are formally documented, assessed for impact, and communicated to all relevant parties.
Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet defined quality standards and requirements.
Coordinate reviews and sign‑offs with Regional and relevant Risk heads.
