Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the pre-school.
• Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters, providing inputs and perspectives, and mentoring teachers in areas of pedagogy, delivery and use of tools and resources.
• In collaboration with the team, nurture and support the children in their personal, social and academic growth by designing and delivering dynamic and responsive learning programmes.
• Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the children’s needs and the School’s philosophy.
• Value holistic education.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
• Able to lead a centre independently.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL).
• At least 1 year of experience for Principal role or 2 years for Vice-Principal role in a pre-school setting and exposure in a supervisory role.
• Experience as a Senior Teacher may be considered for Vice-Principal role.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in curriculum and teaching pedagogy.
• Strong leadership qualities with passion in equipping and inspiring children's lives.
• Experience in handling SPARK Certification process.
• Hands‑on experience in mentoring and coaching educators towards quality teaching practices.
