  • Lead the fashion buying cycle and manage stock and logistics for boutique operations.
  • Optimize inventory levels across Fashion boutiques based on sales data.
  • Conduct business analysis including SKU sales and stock performance.
  • Ensure availability of seasonal and permanent merchandise.
  • Formulate and execute Product Strategy for the market and boutiques.
  • Coordinate category allocations to maximize client relevance.
  • Participate in buying sessions and manage purchase orders.
  • Oversee pricing and data integrity processes.
  • Address product quality issues with boutique teams.
  • Collaborate with Retail teams to manage product incentives and stock movements.
  • Work with Visual Merchandising on seasonal launches and displays.
  • Conduct boutique visits to review assortments and challenges.

Reporting to : Senior Merchandising Manager

Job Purpose:

The Merchandising Manager is responsible in leading the fashion buying cycle (with designated product categories), managing stock management and logistics co-ordination of products and merchandise for boutique operations. This includes giving product support to retail sales teams and visual merchandising teams, while adhering to purchase budget.

Impact You Can Create in the Role:
  • Strengthen OTB and Forecasting: Support the review of Open-to-Buy and sales forecasts for product categories by analyzing historical performance, market trends, and opportunities, ensuring optimal sell‑through and commercial agility.
  • Optimize Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels across Fashion boutiques by regularly reviewing sales data and forecasts. Achieve stock coverage goals through boutique transfers, aged/discontinued stock action plans, regional reallocations, delivery monitoring, and reorders.
  • Deliver Business Insights: Conduct accurate analysis of the current business including product/ SKU sales, stock and sell through analysis per boutique, product segments, size, colors, styles, etc.
  • Ensure Product Availability: Monitor delivery status of seasonal and permanent merchandise, manage inventory flow, and ensure best sellers are consistently available through timely reorders and replenishment.
  • Drive Product Strategy: Formulate and execute Product Strategy for the market and boutiques, with clear and differentiated approaches to retain/recruit the locals/tourists via products.
  • Drive Allocation Strategy: Coordinate category allocations and transfers between boutiques to maximize commercial impact and client relevance.
  • Contribute to Buying Activities: Participate in buying sessions and purchasing decisions, administer purchase orders, and support pre‑ and post‑buy reviews with boutique teams.
  • Manage Pricing and Data Integrity: Oversee pricing and tagging processes, ensuring accurate and timely data management across systems.
  • Champion Quality and After‑Sales: Liaise with boutique teams and After Sales Service coordinators to address product quality issues, working closely with the QC and After Sales Service Manager.
  • Drive Business Results: Collaborate with Retail teams to propose product incentives, execute strategic transfers, and manage cross‑border stock movements to support business needs.
  • Synergize with Visual Merchandising: Partner with Visual Merchandising teams on seasonal launches, window displays, and commercial actions. Provide insights on slow sellers to inform VM strategy.
  • Support Lifecycle Management: Prepare markdown and write‑off lists aligned with regional recommendations, ensuring efficient end‑of‑life processing.
  • Stay Boutique‑Connected: Dedicate at least 25% of your time to boutique visits, exploring opportunities, reviewing assortments, and addressing merchandising challenges firsthand.

What You Will Bring:
  • A University degree with at least 8 years of progressive experience in merchandising management, ideally within the luxury fashion sector, with a strong focus on Ready‑to‑Wear (RTW) and Footwear categories.
  • Proven ability to drive results through strategic assortment planning, inventory optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration.
