Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a motivated individual to conduct site inspections and manage daily operations. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and preferably have 3 years of experience in both public and private residential projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and BIM is advantageous, along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Willingness to travel around project site offices within Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• To conduct pre-inspection with sub-con.
• To carry out site works according to micro scheduling.
• To ensure site carry out according to daily site coordination.
• To conduct internal quality pre-inspection check with subcon.
• Inventory check on daily basis.
• Planning and manage site storage.
• To manage and liaise with workers.
• Control and minimize wastages.
• Receiving materials from suppliers.
• To keep site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc. whichever applicable).
• To carry out any other works as instructed
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve any site issues faced at the work site.
• Ensure all defects reported are rectified with quality.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/ Building Service. Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination will be an advantage.
• Preferably with three (3) years relevant experience in public (HDB) and private residential projects.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• An independent, also be able to work in team, can cope in a fast‑paced environment, highly motivated and a good team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of BIM would be an advantage.
• Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
