About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technical Officer to lead and manage mechanical facilities operations at a healthcare site. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring smooth maintenance activities, and driving technical excellence in a critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians and supervisors in managing mechanical facilities-related activities.
  • Advise and oversee technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification works and ad-hoc jobs.
  • Investigate, analyze, and determine root causes of breakdowns and faults.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports on breakdowns and proposals for improvements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management maintenance, preferably in healthcare or similar critical environments.
  • Strong leadership, communications, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrates good safety awareness and adheres to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards.
