Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor (Site Services) to support our MRO and site service operations across petrochemical plants, refineries, and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery and specialized fire protection systems. This role requires a strong mechanical background, hands‑on site service experience, and the ability to lead technicians in delivering high‑quality and safe work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Supervision & Execution Lead, coordinate, and supervise technicians during site service activities.
  • Ensure maintenance, inspection, and testing works are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with client and regulatory standards.
    Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID, OEM manuals, and service procedures.
  • Mechanical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform MRO activities (inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul) for heavy machinery such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, engines, and hydraulic systems.
    Oversee fire protection equipment testing, maintenance, and commissioning (e.g., foam systems, monitors, hydrants, pumps).
    Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
  • Compliance & Safety Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental standards (AWSHPP or equivalent certification required).
    Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and permit‑to‑work requirements.
    Ensure compliance with OEM standards, NFPA/SS/ISO codes, and client specifications.
  • Reporting & Documentation Prepare service reports, inspection records, and technical findings for submission to clients.
    Maintain proper documentation of OEM certificates, maintenance logs, and training records.
    Support root cause analysis and recommend reliability improvements.
  • Training & Development Guide and mentor junior technicians on site practices and technical procedures.
    Keep up to date with OEM training, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance and MRO experience, preferably in petrochemical plants, refineries, or heavy industrial facilities.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting engines, pumps, and hydraulic machinery.
  • Fire protection system experience (foam systems, pumps, deluge valves, monitors) is a strong advantage.
  • Certified in AWSHPP (Apply Workplace Safety & Health Practices in the Process Industry) or equivalent.
  • Possession of OEM training certificates for equipment maintenance and testing.
  • Familiarity with NFPA/SS standards is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work at client sites (local and regional).
