About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical & Piping Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical and piping installation activities for our projects in the pharmaceutical industries. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent management skills, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets project requirements.
• Prepare project progress reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Ensure all site activities adhere to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in mechanical and piping installation construction management, specifically within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
