Job description

To provide engineering expertise for the design, operation, maintenance, and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment used within process plants, ensuring safety, efficiency, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Minimum 5 years of Process industries.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping.
  • Assist in equipment installation, alignment, and testing.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Review basic mechanical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
  • Follow safety procedures (PTW, LOTO, plant safety rules).
  • Work with other departments (electrical, instrumentation, operations) to solve mechanical problems.
  • Support small projects, modifications, or repairs in the plant.
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools.
  • Able to read simple engineering drawings (P&ID, layout).
  • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Safety-conscious and able to work in plant/industrial environment.
  • Assist in shutdown/turnaround maintenance
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Prepare simple technical reports.
