About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for managing project teams in carrying out their work efficiently and safely, while maintaining a high-quality standard of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with new and existing clients for expanding business.
- Support sales for site survey and prepare tender for new projects.
- Plan and manage projects from conceptual development to final handover under strict stipulations of timely delivery of project, fulfilling profit margin, and ensuring personnel Safety and product quality.
- Lead the team for fire protection systems servicing, testing, and commissioning (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, risers, gas suppression, etc.) with ACMV and M&E system.
- Lead the team to overhaul and servicing of electric motors, water pumps and ACMV system.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, and schematics in compliance with SCDF, BCA, NFPA, FM Global, and relevant local codes.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, resolving technical, design, and coordination issues promptly.
- Mentor and guide Technicians, ensuring high technical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- BCSS and MWAH Certification
Technical Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP works.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Soft Skills
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
