Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ACMV, etc.) on-site.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal site teams to ensure all M&E installations are as per drawings and specifications.
• Review and check technical submissions, shop drawings, and material samples for compliance.
• Monitor M&E progress according to project schedule and flag any delays or issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Support in testing and commissioning (T&C) of M&E systems.
• Participate in coordination meetings .
• Assist in resolving technical issues and site queries in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain and update M&E documentation, reports, and progress records.
• Ensure that installation works comply with local codes, authority regulations (e.g. BCA, SCDF, PUB, SP Services), and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E coordination for building / infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation sequences, and interfacing with other trades.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Familiar with Singapore codes, authority submissions, and inspection procedures (if applicable).
• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks is a plus.
