About the Role

Myko Education started in Melbourne, Australia by ex MOE teachers and has expanded to Singapore and Hong Kong. We are hiring a Mathematics Teacher/ Curriculum developer to teach students from Primary 1 to Secondary 4 (Singapore MOE-aligned). You will deliver engaging lessons, mark and provide high-quality feedback on student work, and share learning insights with senior teachers so students improve faster and our curriculum continues to improve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Mathematics lessons for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 (onsite).
  • Curate lesson resources that are aligned to MOE curriculum standards, while focusing on relational thinking instead of rote learning.
  • Prepare for lessons by following the Myko curriculum guide and lesson resources.
  • Mark assignments, quizzes, and tests using provided solutions/rubrics (Singapore MOE-aligned; exposure to IB/IGCSE is a plus).
  • Provide clear, student-friendly written feedback with concrete next steps.
  • Identify common misconceptions or trends and elevate to senior teachers with suggestions to improve items/rubrics.
  • Meet agreed marking turnaround SLAs, including weekends when required.
  • Maintain professional standards when working with minors and follow centre policies.
Requirements
  • No experience required.
  • Bachelor degree in Mathematics or Mathematics‑related degree is required.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed / PGCE / Diploma in Education / equivalent) is a plus.
  • Ex‑MOE / NIE‑trained candidates are a plus.
  • Strong content mastery across Primary and Secondary Mathematics (P1–S4).
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Detail‑oriented and consistent in marking and feedback.
  • Comfortable using EdTech tools (Myko Education uses Canvas Learning Management system).
Working Hours
  • Expected hours: 20 to 44 hours per week (depending on part‑time/full‑time arrangement).
  • Weekend availability is required. (Schedule will be discussed during interview.)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: S$3,000 to $4,500/month (full‑time equivalent); part‑time will be pro‑rated.
