A leading aerospace company in Singapore is seeking an MRO Planner to enhance materials planning and forecasting processes. This role involves collaborating with Operations teams, developing stocking strategies, and ensuring material availability. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, strong IT skills in SAP and Excel, and excellent communication and analytical skills. Flexibility for global communication is required.
Collaborate with site (and global) Operations teams to create, develop and incorporate MRO consumption BOMs to improve the quality of MRO materials planning (leading ultimately to top-down MRO forecasting).
Develop and execute 18 month rolling forecasts with Operations and Sales & Marketing for site-level MRO activities.
Define site-level MRO stocking strategies and work with other MRO Planners to develop best practice.
Ensure the Hubs requirements are actioned in a timely manner from both a planning and procurement perspective.
Provide local MRO inventory forecasting and reporting detail at site level.
Provide support with respect to materials availability for Operations at all times.
Provide site-level contact into the wider, global SSO Materials Team.
Execute and expedite immediate MRO demands on site.
Co‑ordinate with site‑level and global teams’ SIOP cycles in respect of demands regarding campaigns, retrofits, AOG stocking levels, etc.
Responsible for MRO sub‑contracting repair transactions with third parties / internal Parker‑Meggitt operations.
Maintain local ERP master data where appropriate and development of interfaces.
Liaise with internal customers, suppliers and operations on materials related matters.
Control of materials inventory with prompt action for urgent materials requirement situation.
Collating reports and run statistical analysis to understand and maintain inventory support level.
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company.
Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline.
Strong IT skills especially in SAP and excel databases to enable effective material management and forecasting.
Proactive with a desire to ensure material availability throughout (the) business.
Understanding and application of lean principles would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Able to work on flexible hours for virtual communication with global team.
