What’s the role?

We’re looking for an idea-first Senior Art Director who combines conceptual creativity with impeccable design sensibility. You’ll play a key, hands‑on role in developing and extending Bloomberg’s brand across campaigns, platforms, and content formats.

You should take an idea-first approach to solving creative challenges. You will bring a deep understanding of our products to illuminate and dramatize the substantial power we offer.

You understand the importance of impact and intrigue, and connect it to work that can move the needle. You are joining a team where breakthrough creative work is not just the goal – it’s the standard.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Lead the creative concepting and art direction of integrated brand and marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with copywriters, designers, and producers to develop strategic, story‑driven creative.
  • Expand existing brand systems in fresh and compelling directions across digital, motion, print, and environmental.
  • Be actively involved in the execution across touchpoints — from planning and directing shoots to shaping motion content, web experiences, and social assets.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal production teams to ensure premium quality across print and experiential deliverables.
  • Develop scalable design systems and toolkits for campaigns and events, ensuring consistency and adaptability across regions.
  • Pitch work with confidence and clarity to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across regions and disciplines in a global creative team environment.
  • Respect the brief – but never let it box you in.

You’ll need to have

  • 8-10+ years of experience in creative agencies or in‑house brand teams, with a focus on conceptual brand campaigns.
  • Experience in B2B communications, especially for financial services, fintechs, or media brands.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong graphic design and typography skills, and a deep understanding of content hierarchy.
  • Proven ability to create clear, compelling visual narratives for complex B2B audiences.
  • Experience in pitching and defending creative work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders and strategy to shape creative briefs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and familiarity with motion and interactive design workflows.

We’d love to see

  • Ability to translate brand strategy into visual systems that scale across regions and products.
  • Knowledge of motion, environmental, or industrial design.
  • A passion for emerging trends in finance, technology, and business culture.
