Job description

Marketing Communications & Creative Lead

Location: Singapore
Role Type: Full-time, Onsite
Industry: Corporate Design & Build

We’re not looking for a traditional marketing or communications specialist. We want a versatile, problem‑solving creative who thrives in a fast‑paced environment—someone who can wield words, design visuals, and tell compelling brand stories with flair. You’ll work at the intersection of architecture, design, and construction, helping us shape the narrative of a company that builds real things in the real world.

You’ve likely come from a PR consultancy, a design studio, or a brand consultancy. You know how to hustle, manage deadlines, and handle client chaos—but now, it’s time to own the brand narrative from within. You’re ready to collaborate directly with decision‑makers, building a brand story across all touchpoints, while working with a team that understands design as a form of communication.

Who You Are:
  • A Visual Strategist & Storyteller: You think visually and know how to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives. You can write copy that people want to read and design visuals that stop them in their tracks.
  • A Creative Problem Solver: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You identify opportunities, fill gaps, and bring solutions to life—fast and efficiently.
  • A Digital Native with AI Superpowers: You leverage the latest tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Gamma, and Canva to create faster, better, and more powerful content. AI is a tool in your creative toolkit, not a crutch.
  • Fluent in Design & Space: Whether you’re crafting a brand playbook, a pitch deck, or environmental graphics, you understand how to design with intent, hierarchy, and clarity. You have spatial awareness, knowing how brands come to life in physical spaces.
  • A Maker: You thrive under pressure, whether you’re designing project boards, marketing collateral, or visualising brand assets. You’re comfortable working across multiple formats—from digital to environmental design.
  • A Team Player: You collaborate seamlessly with architects, interior designers, project managers, and leadership to ensure that every communication, visual, and piece of collateral feels cohesive and “on‑brand.”
  • A Growth‑Oriented Marketer: You’re not just about creating content; you know how to strategise. You’ll develop comprehensive marketing and PR strategies that cover the entire customer journey and raise the profile of the business across various platforms.
What You’ll Do:
  • Build & Amplify Brand Voice: Develop and execute the brand’s messaging across owned, earned, and social media channels. Tell stories that highlight our design and build projects in an authentic, visually compelling way.
  • Lead Marketing & PR Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive PR and marketing strategy, including content creation for press releases, website updates, EDMs, blogs, white papers, and more. You’ll be responsible for ensuring brand consistency across all communications.
  • Create Compelling Narratives: From pitch decks to project walls, design systems to internal campaigns, you’ll co‑create and visualise brand assets, content, and communications that resonate with internal and external audiences. Your storytelling will bring projects to life in ways that engage both clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Business Development, Design, and Project teams to translate project concepts into visual and written storytelling. Your creativity will help shape the way we present ourselves to clients and the broader industry.
  • Manage Marketing Communications: Lead internal and external communications, ensuring everything from memos to newsletters maintains brand consistency and clear messaging. Oversee the creation of marketing materials and ensure they are up to date, including photography archives, intranet updates, and digital content.
  • Industry Engagement: Manage media inquiries, arrange press interviews, and handle press statements. You'll be the voice of the company in the media, driving the narrative on key projects and initiatives.
  • Award Submissions: Lead the preparation, submission, and monitoring of industry award applications, helping to showcase the company’s expertise and reputation in design and build.
  • Organise Events & Partnerships: Partner with like‑minded brand vendors to increase brand awareness and curate events that resonate with our audience. You’ll take the lead in organising impactful events that reflect our brand’s values and vision.
  • Lead the Marketing Team: As the Marketing Lead, you’ll coach, manage, and inspire the team. You’ll foster a collaborative and dynamic environment where creativity thrives, ensuring the team delivers high‑quality work on time and on brand.
Bonus PointsIf You:
  • Have experience in design studios, architecture firms, or brand consultancies.
  • Can sketch, storyboard, or visualise ideas for space and layouts (even roughly).
  • Are skilled in motion design or video editing (Premiere Pro, Runway, etc.).
  • Have a strong design aesthetic and the ability to offer a point of view—but without a fragile ego.
What We Don’t Care About:
  • Your degree or years of experience.
  • Whether you can say “I’m passionate about communications.”
  • We care about how well you can create, how fast you can execute, and whether you can craft a killer press release, design a stunning visual, and build a narrative—all before lunch.
Who We Are:

We’re a corporate design and build firm that transforms physical spaces where business gets done. Our work spans strategy, spatial design, construction, and visual storytelling. If you think “corporate” sounds boring, you’ve never seen how we do it. We make the design and construction process an exciting, dynamic story in itself.
