A leading technology services firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate to drive marketing communications and ecosystem engagement activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to design engaging in-person experiences. Responsibilities include planning impactful events, creating marketing materials, and engaging with stakeholders. We are seeking a full‑time, individual contributor Senior Associate / Associate to drive and execute marketing communications and ecosystem engagement activities. This role focuses heavily on planning and delivering high‑quality events, learning journeys, technology showcases, and physical marcomms experiences that bring Kajima’s innovation story to life for visitors, partners, and stakeholders, in and around The GEAR building.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, understands how to design compelling in‑person experiences, and can confidently translate complex technologies into clear, engaging narratives. As The GEAR hosts many delegations from Japan and works closely with Kajima Corporation’s headquarters and research institutes supporting cross‑border collaboration is essential.
You will work closely with internal teams, startups, industry partners, and government agencies to strengthen the visibility and positioning of The GEAR as an innovation hub. Work from The GEAR Building – a WELL platinum certified and Super Low Energy green building, and a living test‑bed for maximising sustainability and occupant wellbeing.
Drive the planning, coordination, and on‑site delivery of high‑impact events, learning journeys, VIP visits, and partner showcases hosted at The GEAR building.
Curate storylines for building tours that highlight Kajima technologies, startup pilots, and The GEAR’s capabilities.
Oversee logistics end‑to‑end: visitor experience, space setup, AV needs, signage, photography/videography, and run‑of‑show.
Develop and maintain physical marcomms assets e.g., posters, display panels, demo‑area visuals, wayfinding, and building showcase materials.
Work with Japan HQ teams to ensure event content, messages, and representations of Kajima technologies are accurate and aligned.
Create clear, compelling marketing materials such as presentation decks, showcase scripts, case studies, one‑pagers, and visual assets.
Support brand consistency across all physical and digital touchpoints in the building.
Produce content for key marcomms channels (e.g., newsletters, social posts, event recaps), maintaining a professional and credible voice.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate technical project outcomes into accessible storytelling for public, industry, and client‑facing use.
Serve as a main point of contact for visitors, partners, Japanese teams, and external stakeholders during events and learning journeys.
Support the strengthening of relationships with industry partners, startups, government agencies, and Kajima internal departments.
Monitor and track engagement outcomes to improve event formats, visitor flows, and partner experience.
Participate in networking events and external activities to build awareness of The GEAR and identify collaboration opportunities.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience in marketing communications, events management, or brand activation, ideally in innovation, technology, built environment, or related industries.
Strong track record in planning and executing physical events, such as showcases, learning journeys, open houses, executive visits, or community gatherings.
Demonstrated ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders, including corporate partners, government agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
Project management skills to plan ahead, manage timelines, coordinate logistics, and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive, with a “get‑it‑done” mindset and strong problem‑solving ability.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, experimental, and high‑accountability environment.
Passion for innovation, technology, and ecosystem‑building, and an enthusiasm for representing The GEAR to external partners and visitors.
0 to 10 years in related field.
