We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Category Manager to handle marketing initiatives & product category management for our business. The role involves marketing & promotional program development, catalogue production, managing product assortment planning, and supplier negotiations to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement. Job Descriptions
Marketing & Promotions
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events
- Develop engaging catalogues and promotional materials.
- Oversee both print and digital marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
Catalogue & Program Development
- Lead the planning, curation, and production of product catalogues and promotional materials
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials
- Ensure all content complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse sales data, customer insights, and competitive activity to guide category and marketing strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for growth and recommend strategic actions.
Category Management & Stock Planning
- Manage assigned product categories, including assortment strategy, pricing, and lifecycle management.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Monitor sales trends to adjust category strategies and maximize performance.
Supplier Relations & Negotiation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, advertising & promotional support, and exclusive product offers.
- Collaborate with suppliers on product launches and marketing initiatives.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Retail, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing & category management within travel retail / consumer goods.
- Able to work independently, a team player and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
- Experience in leading a Team and working in the Airlines industry would be an added advantage
- Proficiency with MS Office (MS Excel is a must), ERP systems, and marketing tools.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
- Able to start work at short notice
