Job summary

A leading building products company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to manage the setup of new companies in Asian markets and oversee inventory control. Candidates should have strong knowledge in business operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and knowledge of Asian languages are advantageous. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in English; additional Asian languages advantageous.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Willing to work on Saturdays.
  • Able to start immediately or within a month.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

· Handle setup of new companies in overseas Asian markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, etc.

· Frequent travel to these overseas Asian markets.

· Oversee group inventory control and intercompany inventory flow.

· Monitor procurement, shipment, and logistics management.

Preferred Qualifications

§ Solid knowledge in company setup, business licenses, supplier and customer networks, tax computation, customs duties, shipment Form E, payment formalities, logistics, and operational procedures in Malaysia, Indonesia, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or China.

§ Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.

§ At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

§ Experience in operations of companies in overseas markets.

§ Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

§ Knowledge of inventory control software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.

§ Proven leadership in managing remote teams.

§ Good business partnering skills across different stakeholder levels.

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

§ Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment.

§ Proficiency in English; additional Asian languages (Vietnamese, Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Malay, Burmese) are advantageous.

§ Strong commitment to the company's vision.

§ Willing to work on Saturdays.

§ Team player with the ability to work independently.

§ Able to start immediately or within a short notice period (within a month).
