Your role in the team

We are seeking a dynamic and insightful Market Strategist and Presenter to join our team. You’ll be the market face of IG Group in Singapore, delivering actionable insights, building thought leadership, and engaging with the media and the trading community.

You’ll also help support our content strategy and represent IG in media and public forums – bringing expert-level credibility and personality to every screen, page, and platform you’re on.

As a Market Strategist & Presenter at IG Group, you’ll be both the voice and face of the company—delivering sharp, actionable insights that resonate with traders. You’ll shape our market narrative and drive client engagement through timely analysis, compelling reports, media appearances, engaging seminars, and social content.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on real-time market moves and knows how to transform analysis into actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

• Market Commentary: Deliver daily and weekly market commentary, providing actionable insights on macroeconomic trends and trading strategies.
• Content Creation: Write articles covering significant market events, including US earnings, BOJ meetings, and Singapore banks’ earnings.
• Live Hosting: Host live shows and video content on social media channels to discuss market trends and events.
• Social Media Engagement: Provide regular content updates across Twitter, Telegram, and Instagram to grow the company’s social media presence.
• Media Representation: Act as the go-to spokesperson for market views in external media, including radio and TV interviews, to share insights and build brand credibility.
• Webinars and Live Streams: Host regular market webinars and live streams to drive trader engagement and education.
• Client/Public Events: Support and participate in client events to enhance engagement and foster brand loyalty.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a natural communicator who thrives in the market cycle and knows how to turn complex themes into compelling stories. You're equally comfortable writing macro commentary, appearing on Bloomberg or CNA, or jumping into a live market call on social.

You understand the stakes, the speed, and the scale of what IG clients want – and you're ready to meet that moment, every time.

What You’ll Need for This Role

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, CMT, or similar are highly desirable.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in a market analysis or related role within the financial industry, OR
• Certifications: Successful completion of the RES5 and CM-CMP examinations.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and financial markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Proven ability to create engaging written and video content for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable with public speaking and media appearances, including radio, webinars, and TV interviews.
• Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms (Youtube, Telegram, Instagram) to build brand presence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
