Job description

Working hours: 10am to 7pm (Trading usually starts at 6pm, might required to stay till 9pm)

Hybrid work arrangement (depends on performance)

Individual can be based in Singapore / China / Hong Kong / Taiwan / Japan / Korea - subject to arrangement

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with shipowners, operators, and charterers to promote bunker fuel sales.
• Source competitive bunker prices from global suppliers and negotiate optimal terms.
• Execute bunker transactions, including deal confirmation, documentation, and follow-up.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and payment processes.
• Maintain accurate trading records and provide regular reporting to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bunker trading or marine fuel sales.
• Strong client portfolio and supplier contacts in the shipping and maritime industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages such as Korean, Mandarin, or Japanese are a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and global trading environment.
