Job summary

A leading clean-mobility technology firm in Singapore is seeking an engineering support role to assist with manufacturing equipment and production processes. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in a relevant field and has hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering. Responsibilities include providing technical support, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment faults. This role requires teamwork skills and the ability to work rotating shifts. Working schedule:

5 days work week, rotating shift basis

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing equipment and production processes
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment to ensure reliability and optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment faults to minimise machine downtime
  • Support equipment hardware upgrades and control system (software) improvements
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve process issues to reduce scrap and improve product quality
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of equipment spare parts and inventory levels
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Support new product, programme, or model start-ups to ensure smooth production ramp-up
  • Work closely with production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional support teams to address operational issues
  • Provide production support during overtime periods, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Apply strong hands‑on knowledge of manufacturing and moulding processes to support daily operations
Key Requirements:
  • Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Triple E, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Bonus if have at least 2-3 years of hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and basic industrial automation systems
  • Willing to work rotating shifts and support overtime as and when required
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a team‑based manufacturing environment
