Job summary

A leading medical manufacturing firm in Singapore seeks a technical specialist to manage and troubleshoot test machines, assist with preventive maintenance, and support software validation processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical manufacturing, basic knowledge of electrical systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Job description
Description
  • Set up, validate, and diagnose test machines; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of test equipment, ensuring thorough documentation of all activities
  • Support software verification and validation processes
  • Prepare and submit weekly performance reports
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, including process streamlining and documentation development/updates
  • Collect and analyze data for trial runs, process optimization, and product improvements
  • Conduct training sessions on test methodologies and procedures
  • Manage procurement, adjustments, and shipments in support of global sites
  • Maintain inventory and lab organization, ensuring compliance with 5S and EHS standards
  • Provide operational support for gas phase coating processes
  • Perform other/ ad hoc topic assigned
Requirements
  • Experienced in medical manufacturing processes, with familiarity in industry standards and practices
  • Possess basic knowledge of electrical and electronic (E&E) systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Skilled in basic soldering techniques and troubleshooting of electronic components
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and data analysis
