Main Purpose of the Job

The Manufacturing Excellence Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facilities of Nestle. This role focuses on optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The Manufacturing Excellence Manager collaborates with cross‑functional teams to implement best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Output
Drives a Culture of Continuous Excellence
  • Leads and manages continuous improvement projects, utilizing NCE-TPM methodologies and tools
  • Provides training and coaching to manufacturing teams on NCE-TPM methodologies
  • Continuously challenges the status quo
Ensures Efficacy of the Factory Goal Alignment
  • Develops and implements performance management systems that align individual and team goals with the organization’s objectives, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive performance improvement.
  • Identifies and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor manufacturing performance, and develop action plans to address any gaps
Supports Business Cost Competitiveness
  • Defines strategies to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency by leveraging industrial performance
  • Upholds the manufacturing standards by ensuring it is periodically validated and with high level of accuracy
  • Conducts regular assessments on the adherence of manufacturing to the manufacturing standards
Leader of Digitalization
  • Drives the implementation of new technologies such as DMO (Digital Manufacturing Operations) to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing excellence, and recommend relevant improvements to the organization
Key Experiences
  • 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry.
  • 3. Strong knowledge and experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, with a track record of successful process improvement projects.
  • 4. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • 5. Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive change.
  • 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • 7. Knowledge of quality management systems, safety regulations, and operational best practices.
  • 8. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, PBI, Power Platforms, Minitab, or similar software.
  • 9. Continuous improvement certifications, such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, are highly desirable.
