Job summary

A multinational bunker trading company seeks an experienced Mandarin speaking bunker trader in Singapore. Responsibilities include developing bunker fuels business and maintaining client relationships. Candidates must have at least 2 years of trading experience, knowledge of the bunker sector, and excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in trading marine fuels on a back-to-back basis.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the bunker sector.
  • Ideally a portfolio of transferable clients for the marine fuels market.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially driven.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing back-to-back bunker fuels business.
  • Grow and maintain a portfolio of market end-user clients in the marine fuels space.
  • Keep up to date with all market trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory changes to best advise clients.
  • Support the trading team as needed on a day-to-day basis.
  • Reports into Managing Director of Singapore Office.
