Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to oversee M&E projects. Responsibilities include planning and supervising subcontractors, conducting meetings, and ensuring quality standards. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 8-10 years relevant experience for Manager and 10-15 years for Senior Manager positions. A Plumber License is preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably hold a Plumber License.

• Well versed in M&E construction methodologies.

• To plan and check combined services drawings, identify variation works and submit detailed cost implication to QS Manager.
• Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance withthe contract drawings and specications.
• Prepare and conduct M&E meeting
• Identify drawing discrepancies andconstantly track construction progress & schedule
• Onsite supervision & coordination with sub-contractors, main contractor and consultants.
• Manpower, equipment and resource allocations
• Prepare method statement, site inspection and quality checks

Requirements

• Preferably withPlumber Licenseis necessary for this postion.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (PEB recognised degree in mechanical or electrical engineering)
• Minimum with 8-10 years relevant experience forManager and10-15 years relevant experience for Senior Manager
• Well versed in MS office and MS Project
• Good technical knowledge & site construction experience of M&E such as Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary etc.
• An effective communicator and possesses leadership skills
• Highly goals driven and willing to work under tight work schedule
