Management and Consultancy

• Manage technical team across Network and Security functions.
• Vendor and technology partner management.
• Manage workload and engagement for self and team.
• Manage projects for delivery of network or security services.
• Mentor for team members and cross functional teams.
• Tracking incident, service request and change against SLA inline with incident and change management processes.
• Define and deliver strategy and roadmap for the security and network portfolio.
• SME for security and network services.
• Engage with business units to understand requirements and translate into technology architecture solutions.
• Maintain (and define where required) documentation standards.
• Champion the standardization and automation mindset.

Security Services

• Design, implementation and managing security controls for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
• Active member of the Incident Response Team.
• Troubleshooting security tools issues with the vendor and / or technology partners.
• Handling security alert escalations from SOC / SIEM for additional evaluation and remediation.
• Enhance DevSecOps function for managing posture and governance of cloud services.
• Pro-actively evaluate for threats, vulnerabilities, exposures and gaps in security controls.
• Threat Modeling and Threat informed defense for security control requirements.
• Risk assessments for application, SaaS, third party.
• Drive the vulnerability management program.

Network Services

• Perform network architecture / design for office, data center and cloud services.
• Drive network optimization to improve convergence, performance, latency and resiliency.
• Maintain infrastructure architecture designs and diagrams.
• Asset management and technology lifecycle.
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, and procedures.
• Provide high priority network operation support, problem determination, network incident troubleshooting and elevate to vendors / management accordingly.
• Manage and deliver network projects, including new office build and technology refresh

Qualifications

• Experience managing a technical team across network and security functions.
• 3+ years of experience in a project consultant role, working with business requirements, through to solution architecture & design to deployment.
• 3+ years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics. Including working with IOC's and threat intel.
• Knowledge in Firewalls (functionality and maintenance); Microsoft 365 Security; Virtualization security; System security both Linux and Windows; Endpoint Security; SIEM; WAF; IPS / IDS; Cloud Security.
• Experience designing secure solutions in Azure (VM, MicroServices, Containers) aligning to Azure Well Architected Framework'.
• Experience working with NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, STRIDE Treat Model.
• Hands on experience in Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike.

Other information

• Awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Proficient in multi-tiered architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong working knowledge to apply architecture concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Strong technical experience in switching and routing such as resiliency, VLAN, VPC / MLAG, HSRP / VRRP, NAT, IPsec, dynamic routing, WIFI.
• Experience with Trust Zone Segmentation and Zero Trust methodology.
