A community engagement organization in Singapore seeks a candidate to enhance digital communication and support community initiatives. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating engaging content for social media, coordinating activities with council members, and managing stakeholder relationships. This position involves supervising team members and ensuring effective project implementation to foster community bonding. Candidates should possess strong skills in content creation and data analysis, with a commitment to building inclusive communities.
This role encompasses four key areas of responsibility to support the CDC's primary objectives. In Digital Communication & Production, the position involves creating engaging content for CDC and Mayor's social media platforms, collaborating with external agencies and content creators, producing in-house materials through photography and video editing, and leveraging social media trends to amplify messaging reach. For Council & Staff Engagement, responsibilities include coordinating District Councillor recruitment and appointments, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, organising quarterly council meetings and staff retreats, collecting and analysing data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities, and sharing strategic insights with senior management. The role also functions as a Relationship Manager, building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to facilitate connections, provide responsive support to inquiries, and synergise resources to address community needs. Finally, the position includes Supervisory duties, overseeing and guiding Executives to ensure optimal resource utilisation in achieving CDC targets and objectives. District, thereby promoting strong community bonding and assist in the implementation and review of plans to achieve long-term community bonding goals.
2. Planning, coordinating and implementing community initiatives through grassroots leaders, joint CDC project partners and staff. Ensure initiatives comply to financial controls and governance policies i.e. Government Instruction Manual (IM), CDC rules and PA staff manual etc.
