As a research institute within the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Institute of Microelectronics (IME) bridges the gap between academia and industry. Our mission is to accelerate innovation in advanced packaging, piezoMEMS, SiC, RF/mmwave GaN, and photonics & sensors, and to develop talent and inspire in Singapore.

We are looking for a resourceful and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Corporate Service team, you shall conduct Contract Negotiation, Risk management and ensuring compliance to A*STAR policies and procedures. This role includes, but is not limited to the following:

Job Description
  • Formulate strategies and resolve contractual issues.
  • Communicate with various A*STAR stakeholders such as legal, and the procurement team to establish IME's contracts.
  • Ability to engage external vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure export control compliance.
  • Ability to compile, review and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRI), as part of regular reporting to A*STAR ERM Office. Based on the KRI compiled, assist in the preparation of Risk Reports.
  • Familiar with Business Continuity Management planning and execution.
  • Ability to enforce IME governance on areas but not limited to like confidentiality, export control and risk management.
  • Able to maintain a high level of staff awareness via staff training, sharing session and regular eDMs.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline or minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Related certifications or good understanding on Policy Compliance, procurement, and / or specialization in agreements and contractual matters will be advantageous.
  • A resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.
  • A motivated individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder and management reporting.
