Job Description

As part of the Student Life and Experiential Learning team, the Manager/Assistant Senior Manager will manage the Experiential Learning components of the NUS BBA, with primary responsibility for the Field Service Projects (FSP), a credit-bearing graduation requirement that integrates academic learning with real-world business problem-solving. This role provides end-to-end leadership of the FSP ecosystem, working closely with faculty, industry partners, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure academic rigor, operational excellence, and a high-quality student experience. At the same time, this role will also work closely with the Team Lead to oversee that Business Internships (BI), a key element of the Work Experience Milestone for NUS BBA students.

Programme Ownership and Strategy
  • Provide overall stewardship of Field Service Projects (FSP), including special series FSP with distinct objectives, as a core graduation requirement of the NUS BBA.
  • Review and enhance FSP policies, frameworks, and processes to ensure alignment with programme learning outcomes and evolving industry expectations.
  • Contribute to broader work experience and experiential learning strategy within the undergraduate curriculum.
Industry and Faculty Engagement
  • Develop, manage, and sustain relationships with industry partners to source meaningful, high-impact FSP projects.
  • Work closely with faculty advisors to support project scoping, academic supervision, assessment alignment, and quality assurance.
  • Serve as the key liaison between external partners, faculty, and the School.
Student Experience and Delivery
  • Oversee student lifecycle for FSPs, including project matching, briefings, timelines, issue management, and completion.
  • Ensure consistent and transparent communication to students on expectations, requirements, and milestones.
  • Manage student-related escalations and provide sound judgment on complex or exceptional cases.
Operations and Governance
  • Lead and execute end-to-end operational planning and execution of FSP cycles, including schedules, project approvals, grading liaison, and graduation clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with University and School policies, assessment standards, and audit requirements.
  • Analyse programme data and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Stakeholder and Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Undergraduate Studies Office, Career Services (BIZCareers), faculty teams, and central units.
  • Where applicable, supervise or guide junior staff supporting experiential learning administration and delivery.
  • Prepare management updates, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in higher education administration, programme management, or experiential learning initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes is highly desirable.
  • Strong programme management and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including confidence working with faculty and industry partners.
  • Sound judgment, maturity, and discretion in handling student and academic matters.
  • Comfortable working in a structured yet evolving academic environment.
  • Data-informed, improvement-oriented mindset.
