This position also requires overseas travel.

Job Description:

1) Duties as Admin Manager
  • Assisting with company operations and management to support the Regional Manager's decision-making
  • Coordination with the Japanese Head Office
  • Training and evaluation of staff members
  • Planning and recruitment of new staff
  • Planning and organising events such as seminars, technical committees, and exhibitions
(Finance)
  • Preparing and submitting accurate financial statements to the Japanese head office
  • Preparing group budgets for offices in the Southeast Asia and Oceania regions
  • Handling tax filings including corporate tax, expatriate personal income tax, and GST
  • Coordinating with external auditors regarding group statutory accounting
  • Managing debt collection
(Legal)
  • Execution of duties as the responsible officer for all regulatory compliance matters domestically and internationally
  • Execution of duties as the Safety Management Officer and Data Protection Officer
2) Duties as Marketing Manager
  • Support General Manager's sales activities across Southeast Asian offices as well as conducting sales activities within Singapore
  • Identification and investigation of potential customers
  • Building customer relationships and strengthening industry partnerships
  • Gathering useful information from customers and competitors
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations to customers and internal executives
Requirements:
  • Work experience in business promotion, accounting, human resources, and management roles
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the maritime industry
  • Knowledge of classification survey
  • Strong leadership skills and management skills
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate smoothly with clients and head office in Japanese and English
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships
  • Ability to write and refine Japanese and English documents, reports, etc.
  • Require overseas business travel
