MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (ENGINEERING)

The role:

You will join the Maintenance Section to upkeep the manufacturing plants equipped with latest technology and advanced engineering control and support the Maintenance Manager in accomplishing corporate business objectives.

The daily:

• Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Contractors in performing all the plant modification & civil works to ensure work is carried out timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations
• Coordinating with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
• Provide engineering support for plant trouble shooting.
• Provides engineering study, cost estimation and executions of plant modification and project works to improve plant performance, reliability
• Work closely with Purchaser to prepare bidding document, technical evaluation & contractor selection for major engineering work
• To conduct and arrange training for staff and contractors to enhance their skill and competency levels.
• To implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS651, Hazop and Safety Case
• To maintain proper documentation and filing of as-built document, work procedures & engineering specification.

The essential

• Applicants should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.
