  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through relevant training.
  • Mentor new M&E supervisors for smooth onboarding.
Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Attend daily subcontractor meetings to address M&E-related issues and ensure alignment with the project’s target schedule.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure subcontractors comply with safety regulations; report observations to the immediate superior and safety officer.
  • Verify that subcontractors’ work aligns with approved drawings and specifications; initiate corrective measures for any non-conformance.
  • Conduct routine inspections alongside the Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO), and take prompt actions to address their comments, ensuring work approvals for progression.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection forms for future reference, including use as evidence in potential legal matters related to defects.
  • Demonstrate confidence when coordinating with workers, subcontractors, and peers; seek guidance from senior site staff when uncertain, while fostering mutual respect and understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Aim for quick and effective approvals on assigned tasks, and consistently apply BCA’s best practices in all site operations.
  • Support and participate in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs as established by the Project Manager and Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), contributing to a safe and clean work environment.
  • Pursue continuous professional development by attending BCA or equivalent training courses, and explore cost-effective solutions for on-site implementation.
  • Willingly take on additional responsibilities that support the overall project team and contribute to cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new M&E supervisors to ensure smooth onboarding and integration, maintaining project progress without disruptions.
