What the role is:

What you will be working on:

This role will be responsible for managing key operational policy issues and providing support to cross-functional teams within the Operations Command Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate across divisions to ensure effective operational management and strategic contracts oversight.

  • Lead the development and analysis of operations policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, optimise performance and guide operational strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to teams across the division, ensuring alignment with operational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct cross‑function collaborations to align operational strategies and analysis with broader business goals.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that illustrate trend and cost‑benefit analysis, challenges and trade‑offs to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate policy implementation and operational performance to identify areas for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work on inter‑agency coordination and address operational issues to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment across all relevant parties.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive contracts management strategies, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and maximise value delivery across operational partnerships.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle management including procurement planning, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation support, performance monitoring, and renewal strategies to align with operational requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Establish governance frameworks for contract risk assessment, dispute resolution, and stakeholder communication to ensure seamless integration between contractual commitments and operational delivery.

As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.

What we are looking for:
  • Proven experience in operations management, policy development or analytical roles.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, analyse data effectively and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working within a Command Center or similar operational environment is a plus.
  • Experience in contracts management, procurement processes, or vendor relationship management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of contract law, compliance frameworks, and risk management principles would be advantageous.
