Job summary

A reputable HR advisory company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to support logistics operations in a chemical plant. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Logistics, at least 5 years of experience in export operations, and is proficient in handling documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, processing export/import orders, and resolving delivery issues. This role offers a competitive salary range of $3200 - $3800 + AWS + VB + 15 days annual leave.

Qualifications

  • Must be familiar with Letter of Credit & bank negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist department’s needs and customer follow-ups.
  • Process export/import orders ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with forwarders for timely shipment.

Role: Customer Service Representative
  • Industry: Chemical Plant in Jurong Island
  • Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
  • Workhours : 8 am to 4.30 pm (Mon to Fri)
  • Salary range : $3200 - $3800+ AWS + VB + 15 Days AL
Requirements
  1. Diploma in Logistics or a related discipline
  2. Experience in export documentation and shipping procedures in Asia Pacific region and order administration are essential
  3. Minimum 5 years in export or logistics operations and proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
  4. Must familiar with all 5 Areas: GSAP, Import & export documentation, Letter of Credit & bank negotiation, Warehouse and Carrier booking
Responsibilities
  • Incumbent reports to the Customer Service Manager in our Sales office
  • Assistdepartment’s needs and customers’ follow-up, preparation of documents and coordinating shipments and insurance declaration of outgoing products
  • Process export / import orders and ensure accurate documentation (invoice, packing list, BL, COO, permits).
  • Coordinate with forwarders and warehouses for timely shipment.
  • Monitor shipments and resolve customs or delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates and improve processes.
