Mission (About the Role)

As a Logistics Engineering Assistant Manager/Manager at Schneider Electric, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in supporting Schneider Electric’s Supply Chain Business Unit, contributing to the Logistics engineering function by implementing projects, deployment tools & processes in order to standardize and simplify the logistics operations.

What will you do?
  • Lead lean projects and conduct Value Stream Mapping to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor the productivity performance, work with warehouse to understand the gap and improve the productivity including introduction of SMART features.
  • Put in place the standard processes and best practices from other entities.
  • Ensure documentation and processes are updated and set clear targets for operations (covering all warehouse processes).
Capacity Management
  • Consider future operations needs and growth to prepare tactical and structural action plan to cater for space and throughput capacity.
Schneider Performance System
  • Deploy standard processes in line with Schneider Performance System requirements with primary focus on logistics processes.
Digitization and Cybersecurity
  • Identify and implement new initiatives, technologies applicable in our working environment.
  • Lead Cybersecurity activity and ensure compliance with global requirements.
Transformation
  • Involve in the study of the future of the entity (support in the research for the automation process, calculation of the ROI for future investment).
  • Manage the Overall Improvement Plan for the entity (including identity area for improvement, aligning with the top down direction).
Ergonomics
  • Be the referent for ergonomics improvements to improve well‑being and working conditions of the operations.
Team Management
  • Coordinate project allocation and prioritization with team members.
  • Structure team with talent to grow and manage backups to anticipate turnover.
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 10 years’ practical experience with supply chain in logistics and manufacturing field.
  • Prior experience as a Method manager is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Understanding of financial indicators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
