Job summary

A logistics firm in Singapore is hiring for a warehouse position requiring no prior experience, as training will be provided. Key responsibilities include receiving and sorting cargo, ensuring safe handling, and maintaining general warehouse operations. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable in a labour-intensive environment. A forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receiving of cargo/goods from trucker.
• Sorting of cargo/goods by shipment destination.
• Ensure all stacked cargo/goods are safe and secure.
• Accountable for cargo/goods movement within the warehouse.
• Check all inbound cargo/goods upon receiving.
• Release outbound shipments upon submission of documents.
• Acknowledge all outbound cargo in good condition.
• Report discrepancies for inbound and outbound cargoes.
• Maintain general warehouse cleanliness.
• Support other departments when required.

• Receiving of cargo/goods from trucker.
• Sorting of cargo/goods by shipment destination.
• To ensure all stacked cargo/goods are safe and secure.
• Be accountable for the cargo/goods movement within the warehouse.
• To ensure all inbound cargo/goods, together with supporting documents are thoroughly checked upon receiving.
• To ensure all outbound shipments, must only be released upon submission of relevant supporting documents by the receiver.
• To ensure the receiver acknowledges all outbound cargo (through proper documentation) in good condition.
• Any discrepancy(s) for inbound and outbound cargoes must be immediately reported to the superior and documented.
• Any cargo/goods outside the warehouse must be properly canvassed.
• General warehouse maintenance.
• Able to support other departments when require

Job Requirements

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 0830hrs to 1730hrs
• Saturday: 0830hrs to 1230hrs
