Job summary

A logistics and operations company in Singapore is seeking an Administrative Support Officer to provide essential assistance to the logistics and operations team. Responsibilities include supporting daily operations, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of shipping logistics, at least 2 years of related experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Training will be provided, and salary will depend on experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export procedures is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics and operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time
  • Coordinate and monitor deliveries, shipments, and collection schedules.
  • Preparation of accurate Packing List and other shipping related documents
  • Ensure warehouse perform correct picking of goods for outbound shipment and inspect correct goods of inbound shipment
  • Update and maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, and shipment status in the system.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery or logistics-related issues.
  • Support compliance with company procedures, safety, and logistics requirements.
  • Ensure timely feedback of all problems and issues from customers and principals
  • Perform any other administrative or logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirement:-
  • Knowledge of shipping, logistics and understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures for air, sea and land transport is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good administrative , organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible , proactive, show initiative to learn and adapt to changes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, salary depends on experience.
