A logistics services company in Singapore is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage shipping document processing and coordinate delivery schedules. Responsibilities include handling damaged shipment claims, collaborating with logistics planners, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. Ideal candidates have a diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics and at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is required along with good communication and teamwork skills. Work Location: 6 Tampines Industrial Avenue 5 Singapore 528760
Work Day: Wednesday to Friday: 3PM to 11PM, Sat to Sun: 10AM to 7PM
Off Days: Mon and Tues
Able to work from home. (Attendance at the office will be required when necessary)
First 2 months, must able to work onsite for training from 8.30am to 5.30pm , Mon to Fri.
Handle shipping document processing and closely monitor shipment movements, including Proof of Delivery (POD) status.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedules for both new and existing products.
Manage and process damaged shipment claims in a timely manner.
Collaborate with logistics planners to forecast customer shipments, develop logistics plans, and ensure product/service availability.
Streamline processes and optimize the flow of goods from order placement to final delivery.
Liaise with the Facility Manager and Warehouse teams on de-trashing and recycling matters, and coordinate with Finance on supplier invoice matters.
Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal departments to enhance the company’s operational efficiency and competitiveness.
Track and follow up on incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure prompt delivery to customers.
Ensure compliance with cross-border shipping requirements, customs regulations, and international trade compliance standards.
Prepare and update weekly and monthly reports accurately and on schedule.
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
A team player with a bubbly, positive personality who enjoys building rapport with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
