Job description

Sector: Healthcare / Primary Care / Urgent Care
Location: Novena
Engagement Type: Locum / Contract
Commitment: Minimum 4–5 days per week

Hourly Rates

• Weekdays: $25 per hour
• Weekends: $27 per hour

Working Hours (3 Rotating Shifts)

Locum must be able to commit to all 3 shifts:

• Morning: 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Afternoon: 2:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
• Night: 9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an urgent care / clinic setting
• Perform triage, assessment, and monitoring of walk-in and urgent cases
• Assist doctors with procedures and treatments as required
• Perform nursing procedures including cannulation
• Administer medication and treatments in accordance with protocols
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records
• Ensure safe, clean, and efficient clinic operations

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate
• Valid BCLS certification
• Prior Accident & Emergency (A&E) or Urgent Care experience is essential
• Competent in cannulation and emergency nursing procedures
• Able to commit to all 3 rotating shifts and a minimum of 4–5 days per week
• Able to commence work at short notice
