Job summary

Locum Staff Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab / CVL / Radiology Procedures

Location: Central Region
Employment Type: Locum
Commitment: 4 days per week
Shifts: Office-hour based procedural shifts
Hourly Rates:

• Weekdays: $32/hour
• Weekends & Public Holidays: $34/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and interventionalists during angiograms, angioplasty, and other invasive procedures
• Prepare, check, and maintain sterile instruments and procedural equipment
• Uphold infection control and procedural safety standards
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Provide clinical support for recovery and post-procedure care
• Assist with procedural room preparation, turnover, and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth case progression

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate
• Valid BCLS certification
• Must have prior experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab, CVL, Radiology Intervention, or cardiac-related procedures
• Able to commit 4 days per week on a consistent schedule
