Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems in a cloud environment (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Implement and manage security best practices for cloud resources and Linux-based systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and security groups.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, outages, and performance problems.
  • Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery tests, and system upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and clients as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in either Linux administration or AWS cloud required.
    • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, and other AWS services.
    • Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
  • Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in the cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience securing AWS resources.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and system management.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
