Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee project outcomes, including timely delivery and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Engineering (Civil) and at least three years of relevant experience, especially in lift, escalator, and elevator maintenance. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts. A competitive salary with allowances and bonuses will be offered based on experience.

Job Description

• The candidate will be fully accountable for the overall result of each project and will be expected to regularly monitor and review progress
• Projects must be delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with the contract scope where necessary take action to mitigate on overspends in costs
• Candidate must be proficient in contract management leading teams to fulfil them
• Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
• Maintain a leadership role in all aspects of risk management. Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with our safety program and focused on providing a safe work environment
• Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of department processes and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency
• Schedule routine and preventive maintenance as needed. Establish and maintain a work order system to fulfil repair requests
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product specification
• Attend site and technical meetings with project team for smooth operation
• Work on after-sales support services and providing Technician’s help
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Applicants need to be able to work overtime/Night Shift.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Experienced in Lift, Escalator and Elevators Maintenance activities and contract management is a MUST

Other Information

• Location: Kaki Bukit or as needed
• Working hours: 44 hours per week (Follow Company’s Arrangement)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Basic salary + OT allowances + Variable Bonus
