Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced Actuarial professional to work closely with the local team lead and the modelling team. You will assist with setting up valuation models, model updates, and quarterly valuation runs. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in Actuarial or Business Science, have passed at least 6 actuarial exams, and possess knowledge of life actuarial modelling. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 actuarial exams.
• At least three years of work experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of reserving.
• Understanding of life actuarial modelling.
• Some life insurance product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the local team lead and the modelling team in Singapore to set up the Valuation model locally.
• Assist with Model and Assumption Updates.
• Assist valuation team with quarterly valuation production runs.
• Ad hoc investigations into new business assumptions and profitability analyses.
• Regular maintenance and spot checking exercises.
