About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) to join our fast-growing EV charging solutions team. The LEW will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, testing & commissioning, compliance, and maintenance of EV charging stations across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and endorse all electrical installation works related to EV charging systems (AC & DC).
• Perform regulatory duties required of a LEW, including submitting and endorsing SP PowerGrid applications, electrical testing, and statutory documentation.
• Supervise and guide technicians during cable laying, termination, and installation works.
• Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning, and ensure adherence to EMA, LTA, and SCDF requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical solutions on-site.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all electrical and workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and building management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain documentation for inspection, testing results, and commissioning reports.
• Attend shutdowns, upgrades, and planned maintenance works when required.

Requirements

• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) – Grade 7 or Grade 8 (depending on company requirements).
• Prior experience in electrical installation works; experience in EV chargers, switchboards, or power distribution systems is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Singapore electrical codes, SS638, and EMA regulations.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and equipment schedules.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Willing to perform site visits, inspections, and occasional weekend/night works (if required for shutdowns).
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with SP submissions (installation license, turn-on, GI, etc.).
• Experience in condo, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.
• Understanding of ICT/M&E integration for charger systems (back-end, routers, cable routing).

Work Location & Schedule

• Based in Singapore; site work required across various locations.
• Monday–Friday (with occasional weekend support depending on project needs).
