Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal Counsel with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience to provide legal advice and practical solutions for a key statutory board in Singapore. You will gain hands-on exposure in contracts, regulatory compliance, and prosecution-related work, with opportunities to support policy, legislative initiatives, and innovative legal projects.

Mandatory Skill-set
  • Qualified under the Legal Profession Act with a Law degree;
  • Must have 1–2 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in private practice and/or in-house legal counsel;
  • Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Must have experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents such as contracts, MOUs, NDAs, IT, construction, real estate;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desired Skill-set
  • Prior prosecution experience is preferred;
  • Familiarity with regulatory and enforcement matters;
  • Ability to engage in policy and legislation analysis and contribute to legislative drafting;
  • Confidence in conducting educational sessions and supporting innovative legal projects.
Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and practical solutions across various areas of law;
  • Prosecute statutory offences, including preparing and conducting mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials;
  • Handle legal matters related to enforcement and investigations;
  • Conduct legal groundwork for policy changes, advise on legislative amendments, and liaise with the Attorney-General’s Chambers;
  • Draft, review, and provide legal advice on a broad range of contracts and legal documents;
  • Support legal education initiatives and contribute to innovative legal projects.
