Job description
Responsibility
  • Handle abuse complaints;
  • Handle user complaints and disputes to ensure that the company's products and services comply with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Judicial investigation and assistance in investigation;
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security;
  • Regulatory policy research, familiar with relevant laws and regulations,such as those of ICANN and Singapore;
  • Continuously improve and establish the compliance system;
  • Protect the company’s intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights;
  • Gather and connect external resources, such as law firm teams;
  • Contract management: responsible for contract revision, review, and provide professional opinions;
  • Platform protocol management;
  • Analyze and study relevant laws and policies, and conduct irregular training to ensure that products and services are compliant;
  • Public opinion management;
  • Legal and regulatory business support for other sister companies or new projects;
  • Risk managementand compliance: risk identification, legal advice to business departments, and business compliance in the countries where the parent company and subsidiaries are located, such as tax laws, employment, etc;
  • Participate in the preparation of investment and financing related to the company's important business activities, and handle corresponding legal affairs;
  • Handle the affairs assigned by other leaders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law; candidates with legal professional qualifications are preferred;
  • At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in internet, technology,telecommunications, fintech, compliance, or in-house legal roles;
  • Familiarity with the Common Law system;
  • Strong contract review skills, legal analysis capabilities, and communication skills;
  • Proactive learning mindset, with willingness to study industry regulations and technical frameworks in the domain sector;
  • Strong logical thinking, high sense of responsibility, and strong risk awareness;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English to liaise with key stakeholders, with the ability to handle legal documents in English;
  • Experience in leading a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge or experience in the domain industry, internet regulation, or intellectual property protection;
  • Experience with ICANN policies or registrar compliance is a strong advantage;
  • Experience providing legal support in multinational or multi-jurisdictional environments.
