Lead Software Engineer

Join our team as a Software Lead and play a critical role in delivering secure, resilient, and high-performing digital solutions that make a meaningful impact on the community. You will drive technical execution, mentor engineers, and ensure that every system we build is robust, scalable, and compliant with public sector standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-impact digital projects.
• Architect and design full stack systems with strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop and review secure, high-performing RESTful APIs.
• Champion secure coding standards and implement DevSecOps best practices.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless QA integration.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, UI/UX designers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure cloud-aligned deployments (AWS/Azure) with robust monitoring and maintenance.
• Deliver systems integrating Singpass/Corppass and meeting public sector compliance requirements.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and risk management.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong fullstack development capabilities across frontend and backend technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps toolchains.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience developing government-sector systems with authentication integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
