Job summary

A marine engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to independently lead the development of Power and Automation design solutions. The ideal candidate must have at least 6 years of experience in the marine or offshore sector, a relevant degree or diploma, and proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools. You will oversee the integration of complex marine electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of engineering design experience in the marine or offshore sector.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/IEE/NEC standards and class rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete design, review, and integration of marine electrical power systems, automation systems, and navigation/communication systems.
• Prepare and/or validate single line diagrams, control system topologies, load analysis, voltage drop calculations, and lighting/lux studies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-discipline teams, vendors, owners, and classification bodies.
